long story short
Fairy, a startup, aimed to simplify house cleaning with a subscription model for cost-efficient, hotel-like services in California and NY.
Operating like an Uber for housekeeping, it faced a number of issues that needed to be resolved technically. The appointment system needed optimization to minimize commute times for cleaners and ensure efficient scheduling that also met homeowners' unique needs. Personalization and customization were essential due to varying house layouts and owner preferences along with assuring quality control of cleaning service. Eventually, establishing and keeping trust in service and housekeepers was a priority, requiring smart scheduling to accommodate clients' desire to know and trust their housekeepers.
Our team engineered a complex appointment management system and built Fairy's Android and iPhone apps from scratch to run it. The system addressed the nuances of scheduling, ensuring not only personalized and trustworthy services but also optimizing housekeepers' schedules for maximum efficiency in terms of time and earnings. A system that perfectly aligned with Fairy's idea – to provide stress-free housekeeping.
